what else do I need if anything???

here is a list of what I already have.
1. crib
2. changing table
3. dresser
4. bouncer seat
5. cradle glider(kindof like a bouncy seat only it goes back and forth and side to side)
6. diaper bag
7. 2 packs of newborn diapers and 1 pack size one
8 bottles
9. formula
10. bedding set
11. some unisex clothes
12. hooded towels
13. wash clothes
14. carset
15. 3 packages of sinsitive skin wipes
this is a list of what I’m goingto buy tomorrow
1. bottle warmer
2. wipe warmer
3. changing pad for the changing table
4. bottle sterilizer
5. video baby monitor
6. cradle swing
7. pack n play
8. bassinet
9. carseat stroller combo
10. baby clothing detergent
11. baby bath (soap, lotion, powder, butt medicine,etc)
I know I will need more diapers, wipes, formula, and clothes but what else is there? I know I have lots of time left but with my my daughter money got tight and we didn’t have everything we needed for her so I’m trying to get everything I need now.

Bedding problem with my second baby on the way?

by the time my second baby my daughter will be 26months. she is not ready to sleep in the bed. she’ll be sleeping in the her crib. for the second baby i was thinking to get a bassinet or cradle. however, i think its waist of money because they are only till 6months. what would you suggest me to do. thanks in advance.

Do you think this will work for a bassinet?

I have been searching all over for a pad or mattress for my bassinet and cannot find anything! On eBay I found these 2 inch thick memory foam mattress toppers for a crib mattress and was thinking we could just cut it to the correct size. Do you think this will work?

The bassinet pad that was in it…to be quite honest…sucks! It is like a piece of cardboard with a sheet on it! I was looking for something a little softer to put in it.

No "Foam Shop" in our area. I called a woman that has an upholstery store and she gave me a quote of about for a piece of firm foam the size we needed. Not spending for a piece of foam for a bassinet that will be used for about 3 months.

Well…Good for you! I am glad you saved your money and bought a crib…but that is not at all what this is about, is it? No. I have the baby’s nursery set up…with a crib even…imagine that! Some people that buy a bassinet, most in fact, buy a bassinet so their newborn can sleep in their bedroom with them for the first couple months, not to avoid buying a crib. That was a foolish statement that should have been left out… I did not mention anything about not having a crib or not wanting to buy one.

Parents: Did you use a bassinet and then transition to a cradle?

My husband and I are expecting our first child in May and we are already trying to decide on what life will be like after he/she gets here. We know FOR SURE that we do not want our baby sleeping in the same bed as us. I have trouble falling asleep as it is without an extra person in the bed and my husband is usually so asleep that he is oblivious to anything he does. We are worried that the baby would get hurt, and also, we just do not think our bed is the place for our baby to sleep. So, what we are wondering is, is it worth it to buy one of those travel size bassinets to keep in our room for the first few months and then transition to a crib or should we save our money and just buy the crib even though that would mean the baby would be in a separate room?
